This started as an ink sketch which I drew for an online art challenge. I cleaned it up using SVG Trace, a free online vectorisation tool.
The result was imported into Clip Studio Paint. It was then converted from a vector image to raster, some of the line work was re-worked and then coloured.

Another digital re-creation of one of the sketch cards that I drew for one of Cryptozoic’s DC Bombshells collections.
In this version of the DC Universe Mera is Aquawoman, the Queen of Atlantis and protector of the seas for the Allies during World War Two.
The tone effect and texture came from a free sample pack of brushes and textures from True Grit.
