The early Nancy Drew stories enter the public domain in America today.

The books were ghostwritten by a number of authors and published under the collective pseudonym Carolyn Keen.

Nancy was created by Edward Statemeyer as a female counterpart to his Hardy Boys series.

Looking towards the new year.

This is an old ink sketch which I cleaned up using SVG Trace, a free online vectorisation tool.

I took the result into Clip Studio Paint converted the vector image to a raster layer, re-worked some of the line work and then coloured it.
