The line art used for this fake baseball card was originally drawn for a weekly ink drawing challenge.
All the drawings that featured a character I especially created for it, who up until now has been unnamed.
Equinox City comes from an comic strip idea that never saw the light of day.
All the black and white drawings from the challenge have been collected in Fifty Two a book I published through Amazon KDP.

The Initials R.U.R. that I added to this robot illustration come from the title of a 1920’s Science Fiction play by Check Writer Karel Čapek.
R.U.R. stands for Rossumovi Univerzálni Roboti (Rossum’s Universal Robots).
The play introduced the word Robot to the English language.

He often chases Tweety, Speedy Gonzales or Hippety Hopper.
Jack Rabbit

I first had the idea for a superhero called Jack Rabbit many years ago. I haven’t done much with the idea, just the odd drawing/costume design once in a while.
This latest version started out as a sketchbook piece that I decided to work up in to a fake comic book cover.
Some of the brushes and textures used came from True Grit’s free starter pack.

There’s not much to say about this, it started with an old sketch from an internet challenge that I decided to re-work as a finished illustration.
