X No More

When I decided that I for the foreseeable future I wouldn’t be making any more posts on X/Twitter I posted this image as my final post there.

It is an old ink sketch which I cleaned up using SVG Trace, a free online vectorisation tool.
I took the result into Clip Studio Paint, converted the vector image to a raster layer, re-worked some of the line work and then coloured it.

Nothing much to say about this, it’s just an old sketch book drawing that has been cleaned up and coloured.
Retirement

A pair of recent commissions, these cartoons were given as presents on the retirement of staff members from the University Of Central Lancashire.
One of them is a cognitive psychologist, hence the optical illusions in her picture. She is also a living history volunteer and can often be seen in Tudor dress.
The subject of the second drawing is a neuroscientist, so lab mice and a diagram of a brain were added to the picture. One of her numerous cats was also included.
Both drawings also feature an altered UCLAN logo showing years of service.
