Little Lemming Books

Writer John Gatehouse and I have worked on many projects together for numerous companies either with licensed characters or our own creations.

We have also been left with a number of creator owned properties which unfortunately have not found favour with publishers, but which we still feel have potential to entertain the audiences they were designed for.

John and I have often talked about going the self-publishing route with some of these characters, but for one reason or another have never got around to it.

The appearance of devices such as the Amazon Kindle and Apple's ipad have now made it much easier and cheaper for individuals or small groups of people to put their publications in front of the public. With the help of expert E-book developer Paul Drummond, John and I are doing just that, we are currently putting together the first, of what we hope will be a series of illustrated children's books.

We needed a name for our little enterprise and eventually Little lemming Books was born, the name seemed appropriate as we were going to be taking a leap in the dark.

As I write this I have drawn half the illustrations for the first book, Trick or Treat and John is busy editing and revising the story.
