I’ve always felt that my robot designs have owed a great deal to those designed by Russ Manning for the Magnus Robot Fighter comics.
My first exposure to the character was a re-printed story in a TV Tornado comic annual. I have no idea why the strip appeared in something that was supposed to be based n television shows.
Green Dragon

The pencils for this dragon design have languished in my files for a number of years. I finally imported the scan into clip studio paint where I “inked” and coloured it.
Four Sci-Fi Helmet Designs

These designs all started life as ink sketches made for an online challenge. The participants are given an odd shape that has to be incorporated into their drawing.

No idea who she is, or if she is a hero or villain, perhaps one day I will draw a strip featuring her and we will find out.
