Lazarus Lemming on Comixology

At the beginning of March, digital comics distributor Comixology opened up their platform to independent creators.

John Gatehouse and I decided to put together a collection of the Lazarus Lemming strips that we originally created for UK children's comics anthology The DFC, and submit it to the site.

The thirty eight page page comic is now available for sale on Comixology, it can be purchased and read on mobile phones, tablet devices, and computers.

An Elephant Remembered!

Eric's Elephant

Eric’s Elephant (a series of books about the adventures of a boy who wins a real live white elephant at a jumble sale) was created by writer John Gatehouse over twenty five years ago.

With the books long out of print and the rights having been retuned to the author John asked me to design a more up to date look for the characters.

He has written two new stories for the series, and we are hoping that between the two of us we can interest another publisher in the property.

A few panels from the strip that John Gatehouse and I have created for the Newcastle Science Comic.

Five members of the newcastle comics and zine community are working with Newcastle University, to produce a science comic book as part of the British Science Festival.

They are planning to print about 8000 copies of the comic, which will be given away free at the festival in Newcastle this September.
