Another Day another Comic Con.
On the day following Last Saturdays Wigan Comic Con I was at the first Lancaster Comics Day which was held in Lancaster Library.
Organised by the Friends of Lancaster Library it was a small event but even so attracted over two hundred attendees, and there is already talk of repeating the event next year.

A few Photos from last Saturdays Wigan Comic Con.
Held at the Robin Park Arena and organised by Paul Prescott who is also responsible for the Bolton Con, it was a great show.
Craig Anderson, self confessed huge fan of everything 80s, can be seen here holding the page of Inspector Gadget artwork that was one of the numerous purchases he and his family made from me.

The Cult of Sherlock

Two weeks ago at the Showmasters Film and Comic Con, in Manchester I met Jason Johnson from Cult Stuff.
Cult Stuff specializes in the production of exclusive and limited edition trading cards and ephemera.
He gave me some samples of their sketch card blanks so that I could test out the surface of card they were made from.
As the cards were surplus cards from a Sherlock Holmes set I decided to keep to their theme.
The drawings are of Irene Adler dressed as she would have been at the end of “A Scandal in Bohemia” and Professor James Moriarty from “ The Adventure of the Final Problem”
The cards were inked and coloured with markers.
