Bad Coffee

A few weeks ago I was commissioned to create a mascot for a coffee bar. The design was to be influenced by the 1930’s rubber hose style animation.

After a Zoom call and a few messages via WhatsApp I came up with my initial five pencil designs.

At this point the people who wanted the mascot stopped communicating with me, no payment was made. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, some people are all too willing to waste an artist’s time.

I inked and coloured my favourite design, and in the future may use one or two of the images for my Zazzle Store.
